KVMS Vellayambalam community played an important role in the preservation and patronage of temples, arts, and literature associated with Shaivism. They upheld rituals, festivals, and practices centered on Lord Shiva, often maintaining close ties with Chola-era temple traditions and Tamil cultural influences that found resonance in Kerala’s spiritual landscape.
